Bart Holladay
Manager, Catalyst Language Services, Asia Markets

Bart is responsible for managing foreign language capabilities across Catalyst's review and production modules incorporating bilingual review management, machine translation and human translation to facilitate case team comprehension of multilingual discovery data. He is also the product manager for the custom statistical machine translation facility. He brings more than 20 years of experience and is fluent in Japanese.

Before joining Catalyst, he managed the litigation support language service business for internationally recognized language service provider, Linguistic Systems, Inc. A highlight in 2009 came in support of the antitrust investigation of the Panasonic-Sanyo acquisition. The DOJ second request required search and review of millions of Japanese documents and Bart's team of nearly 500 linguists translated 150,000 pages into English in a six week period. He also worked closely with Catalyst at that time and now is charged with utilizing CR technology to assist in similar matters and more.

The density of Asia Pacific-based multinational corporations in the region requires his close cooperation with Catalyst Japan and the data center there. He will also draw on his language industry experience in assisting Catalyst Consulting to address multilingual discovery matters and develop strategies for successful language processing.
