A few weeks ago, Catalyst and Exterro announced a partnership that will allow them to integrate the ECA and collection strengths of the Exterro Fusion software suite with Catalyst’s hosted processing, search, analytics, review and production capabilities. Following up on that announcement, Exterro’s E-Discovery Beat blog yesterday posted a Q&A between Exterro and Catalyst on Integrating In-House E-Discovery Management with Externally Hosted Review.
In the Q&A, Exterro’s Andrew Bartholomew interviews Kevin Cahill, Catalyst’s manager of alliances and channel development, and James FitzGerald, director of product marketing at Exterro. They discuss the advantages to corporations of blending in-house management of e-discovery with externally hosted review. As James FitzGerald puts it:
Exterro’s enterprise clients are seeking much needed control, greater efficiencies and increased flexibility for defensibly and cost-effectively responding to e-discovery requests. Integrating the in-house phases of e-discovery powered by Exterro Fusion with Catalyst’s cloud-based review and analysis gives clients a robust solution for handling the many complexities that comprise e-discovery projects.
