General Capabilities

Web-Based System Catalyst CR runs in a browser with no special settings. No need for Citrix, Terminal Services or special software for review.
Complete Native Review View over 350 native file types without the native program, special plug-ins or other software. No technical settings required on your firewall or your computer.
Multiple Document Views Multiple image links per record allow you to view an HTML preview, the native version along with PDF, TIFF and redacted versions.

Conditional Form Rules Create and apply conditional rules to forms including required fields or conditional fields that appear when another field is checked.
Special Excel Viewer Our special Excel viewer runs in a browser and allows you to view large Excel files a page at a time (no waiting to download 60 megabyte Excel files) Switch between formulas and values, wrap or unwrap text. Native version is a click away.
Convert On the Fly On-the-fly conversion of native file formats to PDF for redaction or printing.

Organize with Folders and Batching

Dynamic Multi-Level Folders Create dynamic folder sets for review management and to view documents by custodian, source or other criteria. Supports multi-level foldering for review workflow.
Static Foldering Create static folders for witness and issue kits or to group documents. Create folders on the fly in multiple levels.
Production Folders Create production folders for multiple productions. Search against fielded information to QC productions before release.
Public, Private and Shared Folders Create private or shared folders for JDGs and opposing party reviews.
Search Folders Searches can be expressed as public, private and shared folders for easy access.
Copy Docs to Folders Easily copy individual documents into one or more folders or move documents in batches.
Compare Folders Compare the contents of two folders to determine which documents are in both or in either.
Batch Records for Review Batch results sets of any volume. Assign batches to review projects. Build custom batch sizes and included document families, duplicates, threads and near dupes.
Batch by File Size Batch files for review based on file size.
Analytics and Concept Clustering Cluster documents based on conceptual similarity and batch for more efficient review.
Key Document Clustering Cluster documents based on key case documents and batch for more efficient review.
Key Document Culling Batch key documents for individual review and cull out non-relevant documents for removal. Search and analyze non-key documents to determine relevancy.

Power Review Options

Quicker Viewing AJAX technology opens pages quickly and users can move rapidly from document to document. Review speeds of more than 100 docs per hour are common.
Dual-Monitor Review Use two monitors for your review with the document in one monitor and a review form with up to 6 columns of data on the second monitor for easier comprehension and faster viewing.
User-Created Tag Macros Users can create their own coding macros to speed up the review process. Tag multiple fields and move to the next record with one click or hotkey.
Custom Review Forms Create custom review forms for each review team. Supports multiple forms with one-click access. Set up forms for first pass review, QC, expert witnesses, privilege, etc.

Customized Review Workflow

Special Review Module Reviewers can be directed to a special Review module containing assigned folders; other functionality can be removed.
Review Stages Create and order custom review stages for privilege, QC, foreign language or other specialized review.
Assign Reviewers Determine whether stages require individual assignments or can be shared by reviewers.
Create Review Teams Create and manage review teams in groups.
Create Workflow Rules Set rules for documents to move from stage to stage when released by reviewers. Use fields and values for rule creation, e.g., if document is marked "Potentially Privileged", move to Privilege Review.
Rules-Based Email Have email alerts sent to administrators based on coding calls.
Reviewer Privileges Give individual reviewers bulk tagging and redaction rights. Allow reviewers to move documents to the next stage in batches where appropriate.
Self-Assignment Allow reviewers to self-assign documents by stage and reviewer.
