caseSHARE adds Web-Services-based Redaction to DiscoveryPort

Denver Colorado, January 7, 2003-CaseShare Systems announced that it has rolled out a Web-services-based redaction system for its DiscoveryPort product. The system uses the .NET framework allowing users to download a lightweight .NET plug-in to their systems at the time of redaction. "To my knowledge, this is the first time anyone has offered true Web-based redaction for online document repositories," noted CaseShare CEO John Tredennick. "In the past, companies relied on ersatz connection products like Terminal Services or one of the proprietary products to make a connection. With our .NET plug-in, the user is off to the races without need of special servers, special firewall settings or other unique treatment. The .NET framework is already part of the Microsoft operating system or can be easily added."
