Sullivan & Cromwell LLP has settled a breach of contract case against an electronic-discovery vendor that allegedly missed deadlines and provided shoddy work, hindering the firm's ability to meet a discovery deadline. The New York-based law firm and Electronic Evidence Discovery announced the settlement on Tuesday. The settlement ends two lawsuits and prohibits future claims regarding the matter. Sullivan & Cromwell had sued EED to forgo more than $718,600 in fees it owed the vendor. EED then filed a suit to collect on the payment.
