Catalyst Named to Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 Program for Fourth Consecutive Year
News 2008

October 24, 2008-Catalyst has been named to Deloitte's prestigious Technology Fast 50 Program for Colorado, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, and life sciences companies by Deloitte LLP, one of the nation's leading professional services organizations. Rankings are based on the percentage revenue growth over five years from 2003-2007.

This marks Catalyst's fourth consecutive appearance on the Fast 50, having made the list every year since the company became eligible in 2004. Prior to its entry on the Fast 50, Deloitte recognized Catalyst as a Rising Star, a special designation it gives to fast-growth companies in business a minimum of three years but less than five.

"Deloitte's Colorado Technology Fast 50 companies have shown the strength, vision and tenacity to succeed in today's very competitive technology environment," said Kurt Randall, Deloitte Tax LLP, and chair of the 2008 Colorado Technology Fast 50. "We applaud the successes of Catalyst and acknowledge it as one of the very few to accomplish such a fast growth rate over the past five years."

Catalyst's increase in revenues of 331 percent from 2003 to 2007 resulted in a number 14 ranking in the Technology Fast 50 for Colorado. The average increase in revenues among companies who made the Technology Fast 50 for this region was 507 percent.

"It is an honor to be named to this list and to be recognized by Deloitte for the fourth year in a row," said John Tredennick, Catalyst's founder and CEO. "We have been able to stay at the forefront of e-discovery trends and deliver the technology that allows legal professionals to be more effective and efficient with their document reviews."

To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2003 and $5,000,000 in 2007, be headquartered in North America, and be a company that owns proprietary technology or proprietary intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies' technology or intellectual property in a unique way does not qualify.

Companies from the regional Technology Fast 50 programs in the United States and Canada are automatically entered in Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 program, which ranks North America's top 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies.
