Catalyst CEO Named Finalist for Entrepreneur Of The Year
News 2009
Denver Colorado, May 15, 2009. Catalyst Repository Systems today announced that its CEO, John Tredennick, was named a finalist for the 2009 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Award for the Rocky Mountain Region. The program recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate extraordinary success in the areas of innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur Of The Year Award is the world's most prestigious business award for entrepreneurs. The award encourages entrepreneurial activity among those with potential and recognizes the contribution of people who inspire others with their vision, leadership and achievement. As the first and only global award of its kind, the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year award celebrates those who are building and leading successful, growing and dynamic businesses, recognizing them through regional, national and global awards programs in more than 135 cities in 50 countries. Individuals are nominated by business leaders throughout the community. A panel of Ernst & Young auditors review company financial information and interview the candidates to determine Semi-finalists. Those individuals are interviewed by a panel of independent judges who determine three finalists for each industry category. The winners are announced at a black tie banquet held in each region. Regional award winners are entered into the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year national program. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the overall national Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year award winner, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California on November 14, 2009. The awards are the culminating event of the Ernst & Young Strategic Growth Forum, the nation's most prestigious gathering of high-growth, market-leading companies. "I'm honored to be included among this group of highly accomplished individuals," said Tredennick, who was also a finalist in 2008. "We are blessed with a number of exciting technology companies in the Rocky Mountain region so just being placed at the top of the list is quite an honor.
