News 2009

Denver, Colorado, June 19, 2009. Catalyst Repository Systems today announced that its founder and CEO, John Tredennick, received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2009 Award for Technology in the Rocky Mountain Region. The award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who are building and leading dynamic, growing businesses. Tredennick was selected by an independent panel of judges, and the award was presented at a gala event at the Grand Hyatt in downtown Denver on June 18, 2009.

"I was surprised and am humbled by this award. There are so many talented entrepreneurs among the finalists, that it is an honor even to be considered for the award," said Tredennick. "In truth, this award goes to the hard working people at Catalyst who have helped make this company a success over the past decade. We have not only survived two major recessions, we have thrived largely because of our people and the value we bring to our clients. With digital content exploding, corporations and their counsel increasingly need more efficient and effective ways to manage electronic discovery and deal with complex legal matters."

The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year awards celebrate their 23rd anniversary this year. The program honors entrepreneurs who have demonstrated exceptionality in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

"We are proud to recognize John's achievements," said Jim Wilson, Ernst & Young LLP Entrepreneur Of The Year Program Director for the Rocky Mountain Region. "Winners of the Entrepreneur Of The Year award build leading businesses and contribute significantly to the strength of our region's economy. Their success helps our area grow stronger."

As a Rocky Mountain Region award winner, Tredennick is now eligible for consideration for the Ernst & Young LLP Entrepreneur Of The Year 2009 national program. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the overall national Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year award winner, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California on November 14, 2009. The awards are the culminating event of the Ernst & Young Strategic Growth Forum, the nation's most prestigious gathering of high-growth, market-leading companies.
