Catalyst Receives U.S. Patent for Functionality in Catalyst CR

Denver Colorado, September 9, 2009. Catalyst Repository Systems announced that it has been awarded a patent from the United States Patent office covering certain functionality in its Catalyst CR product. The patent number is 7,574,446 and is entitled: "Converting Arbitrary Strings into Numeric Representations to Facilitate Complex Comparisons." It was issued on August 11, 2009. "This patent represents extremely complex work done by Bruce Kiefer and Cody Collier at Catalyst to build better functionality for our clients," noted John Tredennick, Catalyst's CEO. "When they started working on the problem several years ago, I thought it might not be solvable. But they did it," he added.
