Catalyst Expands Asia Division with New Offices, Added Staff
News 2011
The Tokyo expansion reflects the success Catalyst has achieved throughout Asia since formally establishing its Catalyst Asia division just 18 months ago. Headquartered in Hong Kong and with operations throughout the region, Catalyst Asia is led by Asia e-discovery and forensics veteran Richard Kershaw. Earlier this year, Catalyst further strengthened its Asia operation with the opening of its Asia data center—a full-featured, high security facility located in Tokyo. With this latest move, Catalyst relocates its Tokyo offices to the prestigious Nishi Shinjuku district, near to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government buildings. The new offices provide space for expansion now and into the future. The move will also allow the installation of additional IT infrastructure to provide a more robust connection to the data center and more options for data handling. To help meet the increasing demand for its services in Asia, Catalyst added three professionals to its Tokyo staff, all highly experienced and knowledgeable in their respective specialties:
“We are growing to support the increasing range of projects we are being entrusted with by our clients,” said Catalyst Asia Managing Director Richard Kershaw. “Starting from a core business of litigation and regulatory investigations involving Japanese companies, we are now seeing an influx of arbitration, litigation, and investigation work from clients in South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong and elsewhere.” “Even though we had long worked with clients and partners in Asia, we established Catalyst Asia so that we could better serve companies and law firms facing large-scale e-discovery involving multi-language documents,” said John Tredennick, Catalyst founder and CEO. “Our success in Asia demonstrates that we are filling a need and is a testament to our dedicated and talented staff and partners.” About Catalyst Media Contact: Patty Daly |
