Catalyst Names Christopher Toomey Director of Alliances and Channel Development

Denver Colorado, May 24, 2010-Catalyst Repository Systems today announced the appointment of Christopher Toomey as Director of Alliances and Channel Development. Mr. Toomey, an attorney with 20 years of business and law-practice experience, previously held the position of Catalyst's Director of Managed Review.

In his new role, Mr. Toomey will lead a new department dedicated to refining and expanding Catalyst's channel strategies and execution for our current partners as well as manage the team that will identify, recruit, develop, and manage channel and strategic relationships for Catalyst in North America. Broad Legal and Business ExperienceIn his former position as Director of Managed Review, Mr. Toomey assembled and managed review teams for client projects and consulted with clients on early case assessment, review strategy, and review team efficiency. With his new role, he will continue to manage relationships with review partners and to consult on review project management and e-discovery practice during review. Prior to joining Catalyst, Mr. Toomey consulted on e-discovery issues, electronic search strategy, litigation management and attorney review services to corporations, law firms and government agencies. In managing electronic discovery and litigation, his experience spans multiple industries involving IP and patents, telecommunications, copyright and trademark disputes, employment, and general business litigation. Earlier in his career, Mr. Toomey established and managed a law firm in Boston, Mass. His practice focused on bankruptcy, real estate transfers and financing, and insurance. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Toomey served as a Product Manager for John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company in Boston, responsible for the financial growth and success of catastrophic health insurance products in addition to the development and management of reinsurance partnership programs. A frequent speaker on topics including e-discovery, early case assessment, review strategy, and case management and planning, Mr. Toomey holds a bachelor's degree from Providence College, an MBA from Suffolk University Sawyer Business School, and a JD from Suffolk University Law School.
