Industry Veteran Richard Kershaw joins as Managing Director DENVER - June 22, 2010-Catalyst Repository Systems (www.catalystsecure.com) today announced expansion in the Asia region with the opening of new Asian operations, headquartered in Hong Kong. The new offices will be led by Asia e-discovery expert and forensics veteran Richard Kershaw, previously the Asia Director of Legal Technology for US consulting firm LECG. In this strategic position, Mr. Kershaw will lead business development and operations of Catalyst's practice throughout the Pacific Rim, immediately building out both operations and support teams. A recognized expert in designing data forensic strategies including technical and procedural handling of Asian language data in complex legal review, Mr. Kershaw has lived and worked in the Pacific region since 1996 and has accumulated extensive legal industry experience. He has led matters including securities litigation, fraud and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act investigations on projects in Saudi Arabia, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, the Philippines and Japan. Mr. Kershaw is the sitting president of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association Asia Pacific Chapter and a faculty member for the U.S. National College of District Attorneys and a frequent lecturer on computer forensics, corporate litigation management, and cross border e-discovery at leading Universities in the United States, United Kingdom and Hong Kong. Before joining Catalyst, Mr. Kershaw was Director of Legal Technology and Analytic Consulting for LECG, also based in Hong Kong. Prior to that he was head of forensic technology for a security and investigations consultancy, with responsibility for the Asia region based in both Tokyo and Hong Kong. He holds undergraduate and master's degrees in history from the University of Oxford.
