Annual Ranking by Revenues Puts Catalyst at State's 73rd Largest Business
DENVER-Oct. 7, 2011-In its annual ranking of the top 250 private companies in Colorado, ColoradoBiz magazine has named Catalyst as 73rd on the list. In this year's ranking, Catalyst moves up six places from last year's 79th place, thanks to an 18 percent growth in revenues.
Catalyst's growth over the prior year reflects a trend common among many of the companies on this year's list. In contrast to last year's Top 250 in which fewer than half the firms reported a year-over-year revenue increase, more than three-fourths of the companies in this year's ranking reported higher revenues.
Catalyst's growth also reflects another trend cited by the ColoradoBiz editors-Denver's increasing prominence as a center for technology innovation and development. Denver is consistently ranked among the top U.S. cities for technology-related job opportunities, the magazine reports.
"We are honored to be included on this list and proud of our continuing growth," said John Tredennick, Catalyst's founder and CEO. "In the 11 years since we launched, Catalyst has expanded into an international enterprise with offices in the United States and Asia. But we remain firmly rooted in Colorado."
